S/H. 400 pages, 18 folding plates, first published in 1773, facsimile reprint 1978. The subtitle is: containing all the arithmetic and geometry necessary, with their particular application in the said branches, a work very useful for the working mechanic, or gentlemen mechanically inclined. A good copy of this famous work which, as well as the arithmetic and geometry, includes calculation of trains, construction of fusee engine, pendulums, etc. Basically a good copy but showing significant signs of use.
