First published in 1861 this is a useful directory for many London trades including clock making and watchmaking. The directory also covers many trades (including clocks and watches) in Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester as well as the watch and clock tool manufacturers' of Prescot, and the watch trades of Coventry.
