- The instrument has a black painted tube with a thermometer mounted on the front.
- The barometer scale reads from 27 to 32.5 inches of mercury, the thermometer scale from 25 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
- The instrument is mounted on a mahogany backboard with white reflectors to improve reading accuracy.
- Backboard size 44 inches x 5½ inches.
- The barometer has a replacement glass reservoir.
