| Ly (Tran Duy): Kroeber Clocks - American & Imported NEW. 584 pages, 2015 illustrations, 2006. Florence Kroeber, based in New York but German by birth, was a major retailer of American, German and French clocks in the second half of the 19th century. The book illustrates many of the different clock types and styles sold by the firm and is a very useful guide to dating them. The section on French and German clocks includes gilt and marble mantel clocks, "Vienna regulators" and cuckoo clocks. With 2006 price guide in US dollars.
