[F. P. Journe]: Sonnerie Souveraine - Grande Sonnerie
O/P. 90 pages, illustrated, 2014. Watches striking grande sonnerie (the hours and quarters every quarter of an hour for more than 24 hours) are very rare, this watch also repeats the minutes on demand. This book documents with excellent text, drawing and photographs F. P. Journe's creation including the 10 patents which protect the watch from damage if operated incorrectly by the owner. This is a fine copy of the deluxe edition, with CD, which has a printed box which when opened repeats the hours, quarters and minutes for 15.59 hours. I think these books with the repeating box were only given to purchasers of the watch or a few valued clients hence they are very rare. [English language]
