Ehrhardt (R.) & Rabeneck (R.): F. Kroeber Clock Co. Identification with 1983-1984 Price Guide
O/P. 36 pages, illus., 1983. The book starts with a section on Florence Kroeber and the company he founded, followed by clock illustrations reprinted from two original Kroeber factory sales catalogues dated 1888 and 1893 with pictures from advertisements and sales flyers from the 1888 - 1895 era. [Elgin]: Elgin Reminiscences
O/P. 32 pages, illus., 1972. A collection of articles first published in the 19th century about the Elgin National Watch Company. Elliott (D.J.): Shropshire Clock and Watchmakers
O/P. 172 pages, 19 b&w illustrations, 1979. This is the only book on the county and is always in demand as it contains information not to be found elsewhere. The book also contains a chapter on the history of J.B. Joyce & Co. Ltd of Whitchurch, famous for their turret clocks. A very good copy with good dust jacket. (Ref: K1024 - D1)  in stock.

Ende (H. van den) et al: Dutch Domestic Clocks, the English Way (1675 - 1750)
O/P. 26 pages, 29 illustrations, 2004. An interesting publication by the Dutch clock museum in Zaandam detailing the English influence on Dutch clockmaking in the very early years of the pendulum clock. The famous Coster/Fromanteel contract and a short pedigree of the Fromanteel family are included as is a list of English clockmakers active in Holland. The book also has list of Dutch and English characteristics of clocks in the 1675 - 1750 period; a period when the two can look very similar. Fine copy, card covers. O/P. 254 pages, 487 illustrations, 1978. This well illustrated book is a comprehensive survey of the pendulum regulator, from Graham's invention of the mercury pendulum until the adoption of the atomic clock for standard time. A clean copy showing significant signs of use and the binding very loose, worth rebinding. [German language]
