This is a scarce paper contained in a volume of the Transactions of the Cumberland and Westmorland Antiquarian and Archaeological Society, and is about the life and work of Jonas Barber (father and son) of Winster. Baroness Burdett Coutts, a prominent supporter of the BHI, was a Victorian heiress who spent much of her fortune on philanthropic causes. An excellent copy with good tight original binding, minor wear to corners, minor stains to rear cover.
