[Bonhams]: The Nicholas Radeloff Rolling Ball Clock O/P. A 10-page catalogue, with 6 photographs, for a single item - the Nicholas Raedaloff of Schleswig rolling ball clock dated 1660. The clock has a cross-beat escapement and is powered by a rolling ball which provides a constant torque and improves timekeeping. The clock was discovered in England and owned for many years by Hans von Bertele of Austria. Only three clocks of this type are known. Very good copy, card covers.
